Posted by Kristina Hublar on Aug 28, 2018 7:53:00 AM

Estimated Read Time: 20 Minutes

Your branding defines who you are – it states your mission, your name, your unique image, and who you are through all of your touchpoints. Branding also is to establish a consistent theme, voice, and standard throughout the company and various channels. However, at the end of the day, company branding is to establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers and employees.

It doesn’t matter if you are a Fortune 500 company or a small business. Nor does it matter the industry you are in - branding is vital for your business. You may be a B2B focusing on excellent customer service and cost-effective products or you may be a B2C that specializes in a quality product and upscale atmosphere; however, no matter the mission statement, your branding sets the stage for people’s expectations.

Your brand is how the public, your clients, and even your employees, perceive your business. So, your business’ branding should never be neglected.

Estimated Read Time: 6 Minutes

Alright, this may be a simple question but, to some, it’s a trick question and answer.

Stand-off plaques are both - they are perfect for signage and recognition.

But how can a product have multiple applications, you may ask? That’s based on our creativity and your needs.

Besides, what is a plaque? It’s basically a piece that hangs on the wall, with something inscribed or decorated on it, right? So why can’t we utilize a plaque for professional, customized signage or award?

I’ll go over the applications for stand-off plaques and then you’ll understand that this product has rather flexible capabilities.

When was the last time you took a hard look at your sales style, your company’s values, and the true direction you and your company are going?

It’s probably been a while, right? That’s pretty common when you’re busy selling, running a business, and dealing with the crazy day-to-day. It’s hard enough setting time aside for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals, much less finding time to reflect and analyze.

Say What You Mean With Themed Plaques

I’m an awkward bird.

Yes, I have some sales experience and have worked with clients for many years; I also have made quite a few presentations and speeches in front on hundreds of people. However, if I haven’t mentally prepared myself, I typically feel off my game. This means my awkward duck self comes out, the dork that thinks to herself, “What the heck did you just say?” after some odd phrase pops out of my mouth. Trust me, I know better, but I still do it.

How many of us have done that? We’re put off guard and say something just odd. Welcome to the world of being human.

Now, let me ask you another question. How often do you forget to clarify something?

You’re talking about a project, going over important details or changes and then someone suddenly stop you, asking what in the world you are talking about. Oh yea, you know what you’re talking about because you’ve been thinking about it for the past hour but they haven’t. They can’t read your mind.

Yep, it happens to the best of us.

What This Awful Architect Taught Me About a Huge Problem in the Promo Product Biz

If you’ve somehow managed to never fall victim to bad design (I don’t believe you) then it’s at least certain you’ve seen it. The example that always comes immediately to mind is an eye sore of a building in nearby Louisville (picture above) called the Kaden Building. Is is perhaps, the ugliest building I’ve ever seen and I involuntarily curl my lip in disgust every time I pass it. Who designed this building? None other than Frank Lloyd Wright.

For anyone that doesn’t know who Frank Lloyd Wright is, it’s worth taking a second to pull him up on Wikipedia. He’s a famous American architect who designed over 1,000 structures including his most famous, the Fallingwater house. Over 500 of those designs were actually created. And in fact, your town, like mine, might even be the “lucky” home of one of his designs. The thing is, while Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs were inarguably beautiful, they were crap.
