I Am Being Gathered

All the various pieces needed to go with me are being gathered. In my upcoming shipment, I have 12 Invictus awards (me!), 150 shirts, 150 hats, and 300 lanyards.

My shipment is going to one location, right to the Invictus personnel who ordered me late last week.

I am capturing hearts, challenging minds and bodies, and changing lives. I am what so many have worked and strived for. I am the symbol of hope, strength, comradery, and competition. This is what it means to be more than a design or a spark of an idea. More than a prototype. And more than the hats or shirts the competitors are wearing. I am unique. I am a symbol. I mean something – so much to so many!

I have never felt so alive!

I Am in Production

Since the prototype version of me was approved, a PO has been entered, the data has been sent, and I have officially been entered in to production!

I Am In Production

Due to Bruce Fox’s propriety system, the data has been seamlessly entered and has kept all of my info in order and on track. 

Based on the adjustments and the blueprints created of me, each area and department knows exactly what needs to be ordered and made. From the smallest screw to the Foxite base – it all is accounted for.

I Am Being Fabricated

I’m broken down piece by piece into what needs to be made, how I will be created, and every minuscule part of me has been assigned to the appropriate craftsperson.

I Am a Design

I was a spark of an idea. And with the help of those professionals at Bruce Fox, I became more than just an idea, I became a design. I went from the drawing board to becoming a beloved concept by all.

But now I will be created – a sample made.

Then, after approval, I get to be produced! But first, they want to make a sample and get my tooling done.

I Am a Spark

It all started with a story.

A story about servicemen and women who faced the horrors of combat and returned home with life-changing injuries; however, no one wants to be defined by their injuries. They wanted to move on with their lives. So, in 2013, on a trip to the Warrior Games in the USA, The Duke of Sussex saw first-hand how the power of sports can help physically, psychologically, and socially those suffering from injuries and illness.

And that’s where the Invictus Games were born. Inspired, the Duke named the games “Invictus” because it means “unconquered,” which he felt perfectly embodied the fighting spirit of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel. It personified what these people can achieve after an injury. The Games harness the power of sports to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding and respect for those who serve their country.
